The following was a joke posting that somehow, someway found itself onto our then-publicist's web site. Would have certainly been an interesting show, if it had happened. Spot the fake bands.

-August 28: Back Bay Fens Music & Sex Festival 2002
w/Fred Schneider, Scissorfight, Jayne County, Mucko And The Milk Crates & MORE!!!
Notes: Coincidentally (or not) Nick's 28th birthday!!! We're really hoping Leather Rick & Mr. Fist show up as well!!!

I was in regular correspondence with Alan Hempsall of Factory Records band Crispy Ambulance during much of my tenure in the Takers (to quote some advice Alan gave me: "There is nothing wrong with sounding like The Stooges!") and they had asked if we would like to open for them when they reunited plan stopped off in Boston (Flin Flon, the band fronted by CA fan, Teenbeat main man, and good friend Mark Robinson also showed interest in playing). This listing went up on our site before the actual tour was booked. The show did eventually take place, but with some changes. It finally happened November 9th at the Paradise Lounge in Boston with Mahaogany supporting.

-November 2: The Middle East, Cambridge, MA
w/Crispy Ambulance, Flin Flon
Notes: Oh you just KNOW we can't wait for this one!!!
